Sinikka went on a lil fleeting visit to Floriade this year, an annual spring flower festival held in Commonwealth Gardens, Canberra. This year, tulips, poppies and irises stole the show with blankets of coloured tapestry. My highlight was seeing Don Burke talk about upcycling in the garden, along with a trip around the ferris wheel, and realising the garden beds made amazing murals! well worth the visit to any flower lover.
